There are daily android updates here: http://sourceforge.n...naries/android/
If you happen to get a buggy version, try the latest (if it was the latest, try one before it).
We modify the code a lot, and mistakes slip in.

All releases contain the previous fixes (plus some more potential bugs, features).
Generally, the newest is better, but sometimes a bug has worse symptoms on android or on other less tested platform than windows/linux.
None of the core developers have a way to test gemrb on smartphones.
This is why we need more 'support' from phone owners in the way of logs+bugreports.

Either by a new update that works for you or with some help how to restore the original version (which of course will crash with traps).
Do you patch the game data with widescreen?

We don't patch the game data, we supply only the engine which is intended to run on all platforms that are compatible with SDL.
Android was initially not targeted by us, i didn't even expect this game could be ported to android, it was initially done by someone we know as "Pelya".
This forum is for general gemrb specific questions, including but not limited to the android platform.
I don't know if there is a better forum specifically for gemrb on android.

Currently I'm supporting android version, support is limited to my non-great android skills and spare time.
Common knowledge about setting up GemRB on android is collected in these guides:
- BG1 (short) http://forums.gibber...56
- IWD http://forums.gibber...48
Feel free to ask questions about setup problems, but please make them concrete and attach logs on crash problems.
edit: typos
