I get some really weird bugs when using TobEx (I get 10% more EXP and all the visuals of spells are replaced by black blocks).

Would it be possible to install the newest version of SCS with Disable_TobEx and then compensate some of those features with an older version. I.e. installing version 20 of SCS, but for instance also installing fireball effects mirror image from an older version? Or would this lead to some really weird issues?

Have you tried using an updated version of ToBEx? It is currently at version 23 (the SCSII-bundled version is 21).

The XP thing is not a bug. Main character always gets that bonus, ToBEx simply showed it onscreen (think it's changed to not show it in recent versions). Black boxes thing sounds like a video card issue. Check this thread and see if it helps: http://www.shsforums...-8-video-cards/

Couldn't download version 23 for some reason, but version 22 solved both issues. Thanks!
