I've found through searching that there's apparently a WeiDU highlighter for Notepad++ in existence, but I can't seem to find anywhere to download it. If it actually exists, would some kind soul tell me where to get it?

Oh awesome! I've gotten addicted to Notepad+ & was just wishing there were a proper highlighter for modding purposes.

OK, it is up:

I couldn't get the [ img ] tags to work, but the links do, so folks can preview what they look like. I'll add a.d file sample later.
Have fun modding!

I'm going to repeat and update: This doesn't just look fantastic, it is fantastic! Coding just got a whole lot easier.

Very cool! Add away, and this spring I'll pack 'em up with credit to folks who update it. Crimson Editor starts slowing down with heavy loadouts, but so far NotePad ++ has not for me.

Looks like Notepad++ can handle only a limited number of keywords. I had to sacrifice the area names to make room for more IDS symbols and TP2 keywords.
I have also taken the opportunity to restructure and clean up the file. Maybe you could add it as an alternative to your original version.

Another minor update: Added macro keywords, pre-defined macros and a couple of (yet) undocumented keywords to the TP2 section.
