i just installed the mod and start a new game, but I can only initiate dialogue with 3 of the 5 NPC (Jaemal, Nikoch and Peony, but not Diriel and Rizdaer), the option "talk to X" is not even available for those two
does anybody have an idea of what could be wrong and how to fix it?

Wait until you are past the prologue, a lot of options are chapter dependent.
