[Miloch]

I will post patches to the existing Level 1 NPCs release here. Typically these are .tp2 revisions, so extract the full mod, overwrite its .tp2 file with the attachment here and then install.

It is most unlikely Level 1 NPCs did this. On the other hand, it's quite possible EasyTutu did. Since you told it to destroy your BG1 install, you can't rightly uninstall BG1 (though you should be able to uninstall EasyTutu).

Quite possible, depending on what NPC choices you made. Did you try making anyone a monk? Post the contents of your WeiDU.log and SETUP-LEVEL1NPCS.DEBUG. The latter will be huge but whatever - I don't think you can attach things unless you register (and I would prefer not to download it through some adware site). Note that if you uninstalled the mod, the DEBUG will not be useful though, but without it I would have a hard time trying to reproduce what you did.

Edit: oh and before you do anything else, make sure you have an entry for Logging On=1 under Program Options in your baldur.ini file. Then try to reproduce the freeze/crash and post the resulting text from your baldur.err file (not baldur.log) from after the freeze, if there is any text apart from "Start Logging Session".

Anomaly reported a bug for the install of LVL1NPCs in french.
We checked ans saw, thanks to TraChecker, that the 2nd @400000 should be @400001, and @400001 should be @400002.

I sent you the new .tra file on your mailbox.

So how do you know 1.73 doesn't work if you didn't even extract it? Get 7-Zip if you don't want WinRAR.

These kinds of "I get the same issue" posts aren't helpful if you can't provide the information I requested (to "Stan" two months ago, who didn't provide it either). It's pretty simple - your WeiDU.log shows exactly which mods and components you installed, and the SETUP-LEVEL1NPCS.DEBUG gives more details. If you get a crash, take the steps above to generate a baldur.err file and post the contents of that too. All that might take you 2-3 minutes. Without it, I can't reproduce the conditions of your install and therefore I can't troubleshoot it, since it works on my Tutu install.

Error file is completely blank, 0kb in the Tutu folder.
As far as I can see there isn't a way to post attachments on the forum or in Messages, but I can send the L1NPCs Setup file to you if you message me your email info.
I'd say forgive the late reply and initially unhelpful one, but I'm kinda busy getting ready to move and teach English in Japan while not having any Japanese, as well as replace and set up a new computer/phone/pretty much everything technological that died on me all at once and a few hundred other things. Likewise forgive my not taking the time for installing and figuring out 7zip to try the patch, but I just have too much to do to spend another day or so setting up a game I'm probably not going to play much again anyway. For now I'm just going to do a clean Tutu install, set up BG2 again - I'd already added the fixpack so I had to do a complete reinstall to repeat the crash - and get on with more pressing stuff.
I appreciate the work you guys do and all but right now there are other priorities. Sorry dude.

Woo... well I finally reproduced this... on the 2nd to last component you had installed (Viconia). With Logging On=1 in baldur.ini, Baldur.err returned a very arcane message on the startup crash:

Through process of elimination I figured out this means an NPC can't dual wield with a sling in a weapon slot . Anyway, I fixed it for v1.8.

Now would be the time to report any other bugs lurking around out there. (Though, judging from history, I suppose people will wait until right after the v1.8 comes out .)
