Can dialog/pausing cuase the randomizer script to fail?

I'm not having a problem but I just need to ease my mind.

If the rat squeaks everything worked perfectly right? Is it possible to get that squeak and have the script complete but something go wrong?

I use SCS skip candlekeep + BG2 all dialog pauses the game and the soldier kept talking to me while the mod was randomizing. I got the rat squeak but I don't want to get like 3/4 into bg2 and find out something didn't randomize right.

I don't think you need to worry. Dialogue or pausing should have no effect.

The squeak means all tiers have signalled randomisation of that tier is completed, which in turn doesn't happen until all variables comprising that tier have a non-zero value (i.e. all items have been randomised).
