In Shadows of Amn, I was able to find Laran in the Mithrest Inn, but when it came to Throne of Bhaal, I couldn't find him. Any idea where he could be at?

He only appears in Saradush if you left on the best of terms, though. Depending on how it went, you would probably find him there, but if you didn't hit it off, you might not.

Oh that's what it is. I started a new game in Throne of Bhaal, I guess that's where I went wrong.

Yeah, Laran is not there if you started a ToB game. Inconsiderate, I know, but there are reasons why it wouldn't work unless you knew him in SoA. Sorry.
