Problem with Amaurea's portraits (BG1)

Hello everyone,

due to an OS change ( I am running under windows 7 now...sigh),I had to reinstall Baldur's Gate 1&2;after undergoing all the required installation and patching,I decided to install the mods I was using before,including amaurea's beautiful portraits for BG1.

The problem is...they are not showing!Since Candlekeep,Imoen has her standard portrait,and I'm not sure what's wrong;I even tried to reinstall the mod and starting a new game,to no avail.
I am currently using easytutu,and prior to the os change,everything was working fine.

Anybody has any insight on the matter?I'm starting to worry that even the rest of the mods didn't install properly for one reason or another...wouldn't want to spend 1 week of gameplay just to find out I have to start over :) (I'm lazy,I know...)

I'll be the first to ask this, but where did you install the games to? C:/Program Files is the wrong place because of certain protections for files in that directory...

No,I followed berelinde instructions on another topic,so I installed everything in c:\games instead...is it still a problem?

Even when installing the other mods,sometimes windows kept popping this window saying "choose if the program is installed correctly,or reinstall again";it didn't do it for amaurea's though.

In case I followed the instructions and saved the files for a clean reinstall,but I was willing to figure what was wrong before starting on reinstalling again :)

Open the WeiDU.log file in your game folder with a text editor and post the contents.

Since I was growing more and more worried,I did a clean reinstall (thank whoever did that topic,saved me countless times since I began re-playing BG :) ) and installed all the mods back;now everything seems to be working,but just to be sure,here's my weidu log.

What should be installed:bg npc project (with music),coran friendship,xan friendship,rupert (dye trader) and amaurea's protraits.If everything seems to be allright,I guess that day my laptop was just misbehaving...

Yes, well the WeiDU.log should always tell you what you've got installed (which seems to be true here). It probably just wasn't installed correctly before.

It's weird because I did the exact same things of that day,but I guess that time something was going on,maybe something got stuck in the memory,not sure....thank you everyone and sorry for the panic :)
