Kivan and Romantic Encounters

I'm curious as to what in Romantic Encounters interacts with Kivan, and what Kivan interacts with.

I could imagine him commenting on some of the old BG1 chars that show back up like Eldoth, but does any of RE have an effect on romancing Kivan?

Thanks, Domi. I have to say, I absolutely love Kivan. He's a marvelous NPC and is an absolutely essential member of my party now. I always wished one of the core NPCs had one of the better kits like Archer, and as useful Shadow Keeper is for changing Valygar from Stalker to Archer, Kivan is 100% better.
