Shouldn't the YHA allow thieving abilities? At least, it does in both ToTSC and BG2.

If you get Vexed Thougths the 'stupid' way (I'll wear you, mwhahaha) and then learn the demon's true name via Contact Other Plane, you should have the option of `upgrading' the Vexed Thoughts armor to the non-broken one.
